The Council pillow shows a scene of braves on their horses silhouetted against the sky, photographed by renown artist Edward Curtis. Curtis traveled the American west in the late 1800’s documenting the lifestyle of Native American Indians. Curtis was instrumental in preserving the enormous contribution of Native Americans to our current day Americana culture. Curtis attempted to preserve Native American culture with his prolific documentation of the everyday life of his favorite subjects in their natural habitat and clothing. This pillow is made of Aged cowhide front and luggage colored fringe. Antiqued studs and lacing frame the image. Back is faux.
