The Tee Pee Village Pillow shows a scene of a tee pee encampment silhouetted against the sky, photographed by renown naturalist/photographer Edward Curtis. Curtis traveled the American west in the late 1800’s documenting the lifestyle of Native American Indians. Curtis was instrumental in preserving the enormous contribution of Native Americans to current day Americana culture. Curtis attempted to preserve Native American culture with his prolific documentation of the everyday life of his favorite subjects in their natural habitat and clothing. This pillow is made of tan Aged Cowhide front and luggage Deerskin fringe. Antiqued studs and lacing frame the image. Back is faux.
