The pillow shows a scene of traveling villagers moving camp against a backdrop of mesas, photographed by renown artist Edward Curtis. Curtis was instrumental in preserving the enormous contribution of American Indian in the late 1800’s. Curtis prevented the loss of countless generations of Native American culture with his prolific documentation of the everyday life of his favorite subjects. This pillow is made of Aged Cowhide front and luggage colored fringe. Antiqued studs and lacing frame the image. Back is faux.
